The UK government is still looking for feedback on data processing and storage infrastructure, security, and resilience

The deadline for submissions to a policy document soliciting input on UK data storage and processing infrastructure, security, and resilience that was released on May 26, 2022, was recently extended by the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). To better understand the dangers related to data storage and processing services, the Call for Views solicits input from data center operators, cloud platform providers, managed service providers, data center clients, security and equipment vendors, and cybersecurity experts.

DCMS wants to hear from participants who handle data processing or storage for numerous businesses in particular to learn more about the measures they have already taken to address concerns about the security and resilience of data center and cloud platform infrastructure. DCMS will determine if any extra government support or other actions are necessary to reduce the risks currently faced by data storage and processing infrastructure in the United Kingdom based on the evidence submitted as part of the Call for Views.
